Nails, Fitness and Hair

Todays post is a bit of a haul. Just wanted to share some bits with you. Firstly a massive thanks to  jetley and
anika for the blog post award. We are going to write it tomorrow. That certainly put a smile on both our faces

In my 101 things on the list is to strengthen and grow my nails. I’ve decided to hold off on the nail varnish for a few weeks (with the exception of a pre booked manicure next Friday). Mine are really weak after 22 years of biting them ridiculously low. I’ve tried most brands of strenghthener so decided to give OPI nail envy a go. Starting today I’m going to follow the instructions and hope it works.

In it’s ingredients it boasts products such as calcium and wheat protein. I’m going to use this product for a month and then give it a full review.

My nails today

Yesterday I started the 30 day shred. After only hearing positive things about it I decided to get it. Online at the moment it can be found for £5.00. So far it seems brilliant for me. It’s a 20 minute intensive workout you do everyday for a month. It has 3 levels which you progress through to. I think on weekends I may try to do it twice as I always eat bad. I’ll let you know my results from it in a months time. So far (even after only 2 days) I’m impressed, and already aching (made I’m more unfit than I realised.

it can be purchased from amazon for  £5

Today I purchased some heated rollers. I’ve wanted these for a while as I love big hair and I like the idea of just putting them in and leaving them. Seems easy to me. I was lucky that on a recent visit home my mum gave me her boots card (my mum is amazing and saves up her points for me) with a whooping £33.00 on it. I knew exactly what I was going to buy.

I went with the Babyliss thermo-ceramic ones, as I’d heard great reviews on them. Would you guys like to see a review / post on the results I get with them? Are you fans of big hair?

Only 2 days till the weekend and a cocktail post.

Love M

I have the same rollers, the only thing I'd say is there needs to be a few more smaller ones but apart from that they are great they heat up really quick and are so easy to use! I wouldn't advise using them on short hair as the bigger ones would have no affect at all apart from a curl on the end! x

I don't tend to use the small ones to much, I think I'd like more medium ones. I found putting the bigger ones on the under layers works best as then it's got good volume to it xx
