Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado Review

Morning all!

Hope you’re having a lovely bank holiday Monday – I very much enjoyed turning my alarm off last night so I could have a lie in (only to wake up at 6.30 anyway…!)

Today’s review is of Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I won this before Christmas at an event at the then new Kiehl’s store in Cardiff (post here). They had a raffle and I was extremely lucky to win! I still can’t believe it as I’m never normally lucky at all so this was amazing!

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment

The Creamy Eye Treatment is very popular, and is both opthalmologist and dermatologist tested. It doesn’t migrate into the eye so this is a perfect eye cream all around but specifically for those with sensitive eyes or those who wear contact lenses.

As the name states the eye cream contains avocado oil to moisturise the eye area. It also contains beta-carotene and shea butter so you know this will deliver a hefty dose of hydration.

They recommend taking a tiny tiny amount and patting it onto the orbital bone, the patting will spread the product around the skin but not pull the delicate skin.

I’ve been using this for the last few months on and off, it is a very thick product and as I know it contained oil I was wary of the product getting into my eyes. However I needn’t have worried and can use this both morning and evening every day if I want to.

I tend to leave it as a treat though, and use it on the weekends or those days where I feel the skin needs an extra bit of hydration and it works a charm for this! If i was made of money I may consider using this all the time as it is possibly a holy grail product….but don’t quote me on it as I’m sure there are more I need to try first!

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment

The Creamy Eye Treatment can be purchased in two sizes, 14 ml and 28ml and they cost £22.50 or £34 respectively. The 28ml size is amazingly big and it’s almost what you would expect for a full sized face cream.

A massive 93% of people who have reviewed the eye treatment on their website would recommend, and generally across the internet there are rave reviews and recommendations.

I would say this is a pricey product, but actually in this case you get what you pay for. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a new eye cream, but particularly those who are contact lens wearers and have sensitive eyes.

Have you tried this eye cream? What’s your favourite eye product?

I've been using this cream for maybe just over a month, twice a day and it's gorgeous! I use my middle fingers to apply it by rubbing it lightly between my two finger tips as it almost seems to melt it a bit before I apply it under my eyes so there's less drag. Definitely one to repurchase!Cherylhttp://www.peppermintandpearls.co.uk/

I really enjoyed reading this post! I've been on the hunt for a good eye cream as my under eyes are just so blue! Lack of sleep probably doesn't help my case but I think I'll be giving this product a go!-Sophie xxCherries & Perfume ♡
