Paul Mitchell Tee Tree Scalp Care Anti-Thinning Shampoo, Conditioner and Tonic Review

Hey All

As I’m sure you’ll have guessed by now L and I are big fans of Paul Mitchell. We’re part of their styling society this year so we’ll be sharing some of our favourite products throughout the year and the new bits we love.

I’m some who dyes there hair a lot, I love bright colours and change so my hair goes through a lot but luckily my scalp has always been ok so a range targeted at scalp care isn’t something that would catch my eye so when these were released and we got to try them I was immediately excited and carried on using my Marula Oil range (which is a huge favourite of mine, it’s one to try!) Until it run out and then tested these. How wrong I was not to try them straight away as they are amazing!!!!!

The Anti-thinning range is all about creating a healthy scalp to help promote healthier and stronger hair.

It is also colour safe which is why I reached for it over the past few months, it doesn’t fade or damage colour and is sulphate free (when we first started this blog with out chemical of the week series we wrote about the issues with sulphates Here)

The shampoo lathers well and leaves my hair soft, and the conditioner is lightweight so doesn’t leave the hair feeling heavy but still provides enough moisture that my hair doesn’t feel dry.

They both contain products such as tumeric and ginseng to help stimulate the scalp.

Also in the range is the Tonic spray. I’ll be honest you can use this twice a day and spray on dry hair but I’m lazy (I don’t even brush my hair daily so I never remember to use this regularly enough!) I spray it on my scalp every time I wash my hair though and it does smell great and not leave it feeling greasy!

Have you thought about scalp care in your hair care routine? This is a great one to try especially if you colour treat your hair!

Love M

I've never really thought about treating my scalp as well as my hair. They sound like nice products xxIndieAna// In Search of the Holy Grail
