Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation Shade 2.0 Review

Hey All

A few months back I share my thoughts on the Urban Decay Naked Skin if you read that post (here) you’ll have seen I’d picked it up in error and had meant to get the All Nighter Foundation.  It turned out a great accident as I fell in love with Naked Skin as it’s such a great foundation. I was still curious about the All Nighter Foundation as it’s namesake setting spray is my all time favourite so C bought it for me for Christmas.

I’d heard the foundation does oxidise on the skin so went to get colour matched and went away for an hour to see how it looked (thanks Ffion in Cardiff Debenhams for warning me!) I got shade 2.0 as it’s what I have in Naked Skin but I probably could have gotten away with one shade lighter still.

Oxidation aside lets all just take a moment to appreciate that bottle!!! Urban decay know how to do pretty packaging, the ultimate naked basics is an amazing palette not only for the colours but all the packaging you can see that here!

All Nighter is a long lasting matte finish foundation and oil free, it’s also waterproof and paraben free (we shared our thoughts on parabens back in the early blogging days in our COTW series!!)

This foundation packs some serious coverage and a little goes a long way, yes it does oxidise on the skin a little which is why I’d say go a shade lighter than normal or try out in store first and go back later to purchase because this is one that is well worth getting.

Here you can see the consistency of the foundation, it swatched and then fully blended out!  The foundation is thick but blends out and feels lightweight on the skin and it doesn’t leave the skin overly matte. As you can see it’s also almost totally covered the two moles next the the early swatch!

Here it is with a full face of make up, if I need my make up to last all day and look great after work this is the foundation I reach for in the morning, I love applying it with the Real techniques beauty blender or expert face brush!

Have you tried the All Nighter Foundation?

What’s your thoughts?

Love M

Wow it looks great on you. I really want to try it as my skin is sun damaged.
