Make Up Revolution Renaissance Lipsticks – Part 2

Hey all!

I recently wrote a post on the Make Up Revolution Renaissance lipsticks, and there were so many pictures I had to split it! So you can find Part 1 by clicking here, and you can find Part 2 below:

To recap, the lipsticks are supposed to be high colour payoff with a smudge free finish and the initial swatches show some promise.

Part 1 contained most of the nudes plus a coral, this part has some pinks and reds to add to the mix so let’s get stuck in!

Awaken:

Awaken is a peachy nude, it’s very wearable and very creamy. It’s not one I would reach for straight away as the others suit me and my very pale skin more, maybe after a few days in the sun it would look better on me!

Lifelong:

Lifelong is one of those ‘your lips but better’ shades. It’s much more dusky pink and I wouldn’t class it as a nude either, it’s very similar to my actual lip colour so this is great for day wear and easy for me to apply without a mirror!

Classic:

Now we are down to the two reds, Classic and Restore. Classic is a bright pillar box red, it’s slightly orange but barely. It’s one of those that makes your teeth look brighter and whiter and I can see me using this a lot when on nights out.

Restore:

Restore is a lot darker in the bullet but isn’t too much darker on. It is slightly darker and to show the difference I’ve swatched them again side by side on my arm below – you can see a difference between the colours but not immediately obvious when looking at the other images above.

This one has a slight blue tone to it so definitely makes your teeth whiter – I’m a fan!

So that’s all of the swatches and selfies with the lipsticks on, which one is your favourite??

They’re so pigmented and one swipe gives great colour payoff, they’re all very creamy and comfortable to wear as well.

I’ve been wearing them all over the last few weeks, I can’t choose! I still can’t believe they’re only £4 and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I don’t know if the shades are direct dupes for any other premium brand lipsticks but the range is really good and there are quite a few more!
