Beauty : The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub Review

Hey All

When I first saw that The Body Shop was selling a hair scrub I knew I had to have it. I love The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner and have raved about that here.

The hair scrub is in Fuji Green tea which is one of my favourite body shop fragrances it is so light and fresh smelling (I may have three bottles of the shower gel at the moment, both me and my brother are addicted!)

I wasn’t too sure what to expect from a hair scrub as I hadn’t seen a hair scrub before. I wondered if it would leave bits in my hair or if it would be easy to use.

The scrub contains menthol, salt crystals and honey in a light gel texture. It leaves the scalp feeling fresh and cleansed and it great for removing build up in the hair.

As with all Body Shop products it’s of course it’s cruelty free and this is vegetarian, unfortunately it does contain honey so isn’t suitable for vegans. The pot makes it easy to scoop out the product.

Above you can see the texture is a light gel. You use the scrub as a shampoo and take a small amount in your hands rub it together and then rub it into your roots and spread through like you would shampoo, it lathers up in the hair well and the salt dissolves so you aren’t left with a grit like feeling. It leaves my hair feeling so fresh and doesn’t leave it feeling damaged.

Would you try a hair scrub?
