Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser

Hey All

I’ve been meaning to write this post for ages but there has been so much going on lately I haven’t got round to it. Antipodes contacted us to see if we wanted to try out some of their cleansers and as we are both big fans of Antipodes (L has written some reviews here). After going cruelty free (you can see some bits I’ve been buying recently in this haul) I’ve moved away from buying more high end beauty products as I hadn’t done my research yet so was excited to see that antipodes is not only certified organic but also vegetarian society approved.

I decided to try the grapeseed butter cleanser which is recommended for dry skin. If you’ve been reading the blog for a while you’ll know I have oily combination skin but lately I’ve been loving balm cleansers (especially the neal’s yard wild rose beauty balm review here) as my skin has been feeling dehydrated and I love that balm cleansers really remove make up well.

As you can see from the photos below is looks almost grainy, on contact with the skin it really melts in and isn’t agressive on the skin at all, (also good call on the little spatula Antipodes much nicer than shoving my fingers in the pot!). I’ve been absolutely loving it, it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and clears away my make up easily. It feels like a real treat before bed. As I do have oily tendencies to my skin I do only use it before bed.

I’m hooked on Antipodes again (I need the divine oil back in my life) and can’t wait to try more bits. Have you got any recommendations?
