Barry M Nail Polish – Mini Review 2

Hey all!

Last week I wrote a quick mini-review post on some recent Barry M purchases which you can read by clicking here. I’ve been buying a few different polishes with various finishes so I’ve got another few reviews for you today too.

First is a Coconut Infusion nail polish, this is called Paradise and is a typical nudey greige with a slight purple tone to it making it perfect for my super pale skin.

2 coats for full opacity and as usual they are really easy to apply. I like this colour for every day wear but I think it generally looks good for any occasion – definitely recommend!

Next up is one of the new polishes from the Frosted Cupcake range. I saw this in store and felt like trying a new one, so I got the Strawberries and Cream colour.

The Frosted Cupcake polishes are available in four different pastel colours and contain some kind of iridescent glitter flakes but don’t have a metallic sparkly finish. The glitter seems to be inside the nail polish and never on the surface so it has a dulled effect.

I used both 2 and 3 coats to see the different opacity levels but to be honest I don’t think this effect is for me. I like normal polishes like those above with a super shiny finish, matte effects and full on shimmer/glitter but this one is neither for me.

It’s a shame because the colour range is lovely and as well as this pink pastel colour there is also a coconut cream, a concrete grey, and a baby blue.

Lastly we have my current fave of the moment. The Molten Metal polish in Copper Mine.

I’m totally obsessed with this colour, and although eeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone is obsessed with rose gold and copper at the moment I’m fully declaring that I am too. (I don’t love pugs or unicorns so I feel like I’m not a total blogger cliche ha!)

As with the other polishes 2 coats is normally enough unless they’re thin and then maybe 3 are required. This colour suits my skin tone really well as warmer tones seem to look best and it’s not quite so sparkly as the gold and bronze.

I can’t stop putting this on and I’m probably going to have to buy a new bottle soon, when does that ever happen?!

Have you tried any of these? What’s your favourite of the mini reviews so far?

I’ve got one more post to go up next week to complete my nail polish spree, I probably went a bit overboard but I’ve promised myself I will have a clear out of older ones that these will be replacing. I just don’t see the point in spending lots on nail polish when colours like these are available from Barry M at super affordable prices.

What nail polish are you obsessed with at the moment?
