Hope you’re all having a fabulous week. We were super lucky last week and were invited to Celtic Manor Resort for a sneak peek of their new Champagne and Beauty bar – it’s as fabulous as you are imagining!
We were so excited when the invite came through and just knew we had to go, not only was the event going to be amazing but we were hoping we’d have a chance to catch up with some of our blogger friends so couldn’t wait.
The Beauty bar can be found just outside the spa and has it’s own room. The entrance is beautiful and the decorations were so pretty, there were candles and lanterns lighting the way along a red carpet to get there – exactly the luxury you would expect from Celtic Manor!
The room itself doesn’t disappoint either, it has two nail bars for two people each, plus a make up area and two additional seats for brows and other beauty treatments. We were treated to a few complimentary treatments whilst there too!
I absolutely love the decor, it’s exactly the high level luxury you would expect and it was all beautifully clean. I love the wall of nail colours, one for fingers and one at the back for toes. The colour range is really impressive and boasts a range of finishes too.
I had mine done with a pinky nude colour as I was a bit overwhelmed with choice! I decided as I hadn’t had my nails painted for me in a while that nude was the best option, but there was a coral and the pastels definitely caught my eye!
We both also had our brows done, I’ve never had mine threaded before so it was a great experience. It didn’t hurt at all but my eyes are so sensitive they were streaming after I opened them…oops! Sorry to the therapist who thought she had made me cry!
We were also treated to some fabulous food, not only was there champagne and cocktails (mocktails for me as I was driving – look at the flower in it!) but also a range of sweet and savoury nibbles, the macaroons and chocolate dipped strawberries were such a hit.
I particularly love the quotes on the wall, they look really good and are of course perfect instagram material!
We also loved that they have marble effect chairs, how cool are these???
The beauty bar has a range of treatments at various prices. They have a Champagne Manicure and Champagne Pedicure which are their signature treatments, involving champagne, snacks, full exfoliation and heat treatments finishing with a polish of your choice. It sounds the perfect weekend treat, and even better the perfect trip for a bridal or hen party!
They offer normal polish and gel polishes for hands and feet, and a full range of brow and lash treatments including strip lashes, brow design and tints. As well as this they offer make up lessons for evening looks, bridal and teens and a full men’s range! They really do have it all covered here in the Champagne and Beauty bar.
What do you think of the new Champagne and Beauty bar?? Will you be testing this out?
Spending time at Celtic Manor always feels like a welcome escape for us, it always smells amazing in the spa and we have been a few times for events and for treatments and have fully enjoyed all of them.
It was also lovely to catch up with some of our fellow bloggers, you should go and check out their blogs too! India can be found here, Jade can be found here, and Christy (Style Rarebit) can be found here.
The most important question is…..which nail polish colour would you choose??
