I’ve been eyeing up the Rosie for Autograph range in the Marks and Spencer beauty hall for a while now, Rosie Huntington Whiteley is absolutely gorgeous and always has flawless makeup and the range always looked amazing!
The range is cruelty free and leaping bunny certified and this lipstick is vegan too! I’d purchased pieces before for presents but hadn’t grabbed anything for myself until the other day when I decided I definitely deserved the treat! There was an amazing selection of products I wanted and I’m still eyeing up the cream shadow sticks, bronzer and finishing powder – this felt amazing on my hand!
The packaging is gorgeous and feels really high end, not only is it rose gold – which lets face it who doesn’t love! It’s metal and feels heavy and has a satisfying magnet closure (this isn’t a lid that’ll fall off in you’re bag.
I was instantly drawn to Silk Rose as it’s a deep rose toned nude and is perfect for everyday and really finishes off a look, it’s a pretty good dupe for Mac Twig which a friends wore on her wedding day on my recommendation a few years ago and I never got around to purchasing it prior to going cruelty free, I’ve been hunting this shade since! The bullet also has a rose etched into it, the details on this are gorgeous!
So how are the lipsticks themselves…. these glide on so easy and give such a creamy texture, the colour payoff in one swipe is amazing and they last. If you want a long lasting lipstick that doesn’t dry out the lips, this is the one for you. I’ll definitely be grabbing more shades! These retail for £14.
Have you tried any of the range? Do you like nude shades like this?
