Life Update

Hey all

So it’s been a long time since I wrote a blog post and even longer since I did a life lately post. A lot has been going on lately and life has been hectic!! C and I have just bought our first home and it’s a total project renovation house so life has been busy moving, and starting working on it and Christmas thrown into the mix.

At the end of November C and I had a week off because I’d booked us tickets to see the Harry Potter Play (which was absolutely magical and didn’t disappoint!), we decided to be tourists in London for a few days and finished off a great week with a wedding back at my parents for a family friend!

Natural History Museum

Our first day we explored the Natural History Museum and went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. We hadn’t been to they hyde park winter wonderland before and the middle of the day mid week at the end of november is the time to visit. Everything was quite enough to explore around, it got dark to see it all lit up and didn’t get busy to early! We managed to fit in ice skating and a trip to the ice bar and loved it, what a better way to feel festive!

Harry Potter Play Londong

Coppa club london, igloo cocktails

The next day it was THE day, finally time for me to see the Harry Potter play, I got the tickets over a year in advance. I of course showed my proud slytherin colours! We then strolled back to our AirBnB and happened across the magical coppa club! Cocktails in heated igloos with fairy lights over looking Tower Bridge!! If you’re in London I’d definitely suggest popping here for a cocktail.

Wedding outfit inspo

We had such a great time at our friends wedding, I love getting dressed up for weddings and couldn’t resist pulling out the tutu skirt again!

Autumn internationals Millenium Stadium

As if moving and buying a house didn’t take enough time we also went to the stadium to watch one of the Autumn international games, I love going to watch the games live it’s always such a great atmosphere.

The CSI Girls

Dirty Martini

L and I had our traditional Christmas night out and celebrated with a proescco brunch and our favourite Dirty Martini cocktails.

I’ve also been taking Mixed Aerial classes with no fit state and I’ve loved it. I can feel myself getting stronger and really progressing and can’t wait for the new year to start my trapeze classed. I love having a new challenge!

Last but not least our current get up at least twice a week!! We have been pulling up carpets, stripping wallpaper and stripping back the house to find some food and bad surprises, we can’t wait to see how it changes and I’m sure I’ll be sharing lots more home stuff soon!

Hope everyone had a great new year we had a house warming new year party!

I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Love M
