Top 10 Tourist Things to do in London

Hey All

In November my other half and I took a week off work and decided to be tourists in London so I thought I’d share our trip and top picks to explore.

1. Watch Harry Potter and the Curse Child and Visit House of MinaLima

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

If you’re new to our blog you may not know but we are huge Harry Potter fans. I managed to get tickets a year ago and the show is absolutely magical. If you can’t get tickets the House of MinaLima shop is amazing and has loads of print and memoribila from the films, we make huge mental shopping lists every time we go in. You can also go to kings cross and see the shop and platform 9 and 3/4!

2. Visit the museums

Natural History Museum

Natural History Museum

This time we went to the Natural History Museum and The V and A. I love wandering around the museums, they’re free to go into and easy to get to as they’re within walking distance to tube stops. I hadn’t been to the Natural History Museum for a while and it didn’t disappoint, there was so much to see it’s definitely a whole day activity. I quite often do the V and A if I have time to kill before I go home as you can drop your bags off and explore.

3. Visit Harrods

Harrods

I love exploring and walking around Harrods, it has the gorgeous food courts to explore as well as all the make up and handbags and everything else. It’s worth a visit, I love going to see Liberties and Selfridges as well depending on what part of London I’m in at the time.

4. Visit Carnaby Street

Carnaby Street

Carnaby street is so bright and colourful and has some great shops including fashion and make up as well as choccywoccydoodah for all the amazing chocolate goodness!

5. Visit Camden

Camden Markets and street food

Camden is a great area to visit for some of the most amazing street food. They have amazing veggie and vegan food selections as well. There is also home of the Half Hitch Gin which is a delicious and has tea in it. Winner. Camden market is also great for a wonder.

6. Visit the Parks

Hyde Park

Both Hyde Park and Richmond Park are free to walk around and beautiful for a stroll. I love just walking and exploring different parts of London and there are lots of great parks.

7. Drinks at Coppa Club

Oh my this is the ultimate cocktail destination, it has igloos that overlook tower bridge and the shard and have amazing views of London. They have fairy lights and heaters in them so they are great all year round. The cocktails really weren’t that expensive either. I’d definitely recommend booking into here.

8. Explore Southbank

South bank

If you haven’t guessed by now I love to walk around London, there is so much to see. Southbank is somewhere I love to go for a walk to, I love being by the water so this is my perfect walk.

9. Visit the Ice Bar

Ice Bar

We debated for a while whether we would go to the Ice Bar for a while as it’s not the cheapest but we decided to head there and I’m so glad we did. It was fun to experience it and have a cocktail.

10. Explore great food

Franco Manco Pizza

There are so many amazing food places in London and my lastest discovery is Franco Manca pizza, oh my this is so delicious and such a bargain at about £8 a pizza!

What do you like to do when you go to London?
