T2 Tea Travel Kit

Have you heard of the T2 Tea Travel Kit?

As a British person I’ll freely admit I’m obsessed with tea, I drink your average English breakfast tea from Tetley, PG Tips and Yorkshire tea to get me through my days. However I also love trying all sorts of other teas from peppermint to blends of teas to help your digestive system and to sleep better.

My brother previously bought me the T2 Choc set and recently him and his girlfriend bought me the travel kit and the Twenty Adventures box.

The travel kit contains two bamboo cups connected with a band, inside is the T2 Total Tool and a variety of sachets of tea to get you started. These include Melbourne Breakfast, Lemongrass & Ginger, and Strawberries & Cream.

I travel with my job and getting a decent cup of tea can be a challenge sometimes, so this has been the perfect addition to my suitcase for my trips. I just have to make sure I have a kettle in my room!

The kit perfectly fits together with the important bits contained inside, I regularly add in extra sachets to try different teas and have a small pot with my favourite tea in it (I especially cannot live without peppermint so this is my usual favourite)

The T2 Total Tool is a brilliant addition, you can scoop however much tea using the one end into the other end with the strainer. I wasn’t sure if the chain would be long enough but it actually is and it isn’t difficult to get the tea into the strainer. The strainer has a clip to stop it from coming apart when the tea is in it too, which is very useful (having had a few mishaps over my tea drinking life!)

I usually take a few different sachets from the Twenty Adventures box so I can try out some new teas and find some favourites.

The Twenty Adventures box contains twenty different options of tea (tea bags and loose leaf teas). Included are Chai, China Jasmine, Creme Brulee, English Breakfast, French Earl Grey, Geisha Gateway, Gorgeous Geisha, Irish Breakfast, Just Chamomile, Just Peppermint, Lemongrass & Ginger, Lemon Sorbet, Melbourne Breakfast, Morning Sunshine, New York Breakfast, Sencha, Sleep Tight, Southern Sunrise, Strawberry Sensation and Sleep Tea.

All of these are available on the T2 website so I’ve been working my way through them. Sleep Tea was my number one find, I absolutely love it and will share a post in future about a few new teas I’ve found. The Tummy Tea was also great when I felt a bit rough thanks to my IBS so I’ve purchased this too.

I normally get at least two cups out of each sachet, some I like a bit weaker than recommended so I split it between the two cups. I think you’re supposed to share your tea but I just make myself more!

It was the perfect gift for me to travel with some loose leaf tea and have a few more indulgent teas than the usual on offer in hotels (if you even get any!)

The T2 Travel Kit costs £15, and the Twenty Adventures box is currently unavailable but I believe it’s a limited edition set that is rereleased every few years. I’d definitely recommend trying out the selection boxes to find some new flavours!

Have you tried anything from T2 Tea? What other loose leaf teas do you drink?
