Laguna Spa at Park Plaza Tapas and Tranquility Package

When we were contacted by Park Plaza to ask if we wanted to try their new Tapas and Tranquility package we of course said yes. What helps inprove a spa session…. tapa and wine of course!

The Tapas and Tranquility package is for two people and costs £89 which includes a 25 minute treatment each, robes slippers and towels, 3 hours use of the spa and a tapas platter and glass of wine each! We were kindly gifted this by Park Plaza.

Laguna Spa Park Plaza Evening

As part of the Tapas and Tranquility package you both get a 25 minute treatment and can chose from any of the following.

• Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage
• Express Prescription Facial
• Tension Relieving Scalp Massage
• Full Body Exfoliation

I chose the Facial and Laura went for the massage! I can never resist a facial, I love my skin being pampered and find nothing more relaxing. Laura said the massage was incredible and she felt so relaxed she didn’t want it to end. The spa is decorated in a sleek and sophisticated way with almost a morrocan theme with the candles everywhere and has a lovely pool and hot tub (as there were other people there we didn’t want to take photos of the pool area!) We’ve shared our thoughts on the spa a few times and you can see these posts here.

What really adds a special something to the Tapas and Tranquility package is the incredible tapas platters served in Laguna Kitchen. We opted for the vegan option as the other option contained a lot of meat and as I’m vegetarian we thought we could share this better. This platter goes above and beyond and the star of the show really are the breaded mozzarella bites, you really couldn’t tell they were vegan, they were as gooey and delicious as you’d expect. It also had hummus, pitta bread, falafel, sweet potato fries, quinoa salad, smashed avocado and peppers and was a real feast.

We felt so pampered after the Tapas and Tranquility and it’s something we’ve both said we need to do more. For £45 a person this is a perfect mid week treat especially to be able to chill in the pool and things. I think next time I’d be tempted to do food first to really make the most of the pool!

Would you go for a midweek bestie treat?

Love this! I’m definitely tempted to go for a mid week bestie treat and that platter looks so yummy. I’ve never tried vegan mozzarella bites so will definitely add them to my list of treats to try. Glad you both had a lovely time! Tori xo
