As an end to national spa week I’d thought I’d share some of our favourite spa days in South Wales. We are currently working our way through the ones local to us.
The Celtic Manor
This has to be on of our favourites, from the amazing spa area and swimming pool with amazing views of the Golf Course and a gorgeous ceiling to an amazing chill out area. We’ve had a few treatments too and the facial on the heated bed is definitely stand out. You can also get spa days with their delicious afternoon teas or with the bento box style. Celtic Manor also offers amazing accommodation and a great new addition of the Champagne and beauty bar for shorter treatments perfect for a girly afternoon or pre night out treat. Laguna Health and Spa
Laguna Health and Spa is situated in the centre of Cardiff and was where I used to go to the gym. I love the pool area sauna and steam room and Jacuzzi to relax in. There is also a relaxation area, a and amazing treatments. They also do great spa day packages which can include afternoon tea which is amazing, they even do a Gin themed afternoon tea and a gentlemen’s afternoon tea. You can read our treatment reviews here.
Lush Spa Cardiff
When I heard Lush was opening in Cardiff I couldn’t wait. I love lush products and couldn’t wait to see what they would do with the spa and it didn’t disappoint. An amazing selection of well thought out treatments with specifically recorded music for each treatment and a drink. This is one I would describe as a full experience as more than just a treatment. I love it here and L was impressed when I took her for her birthday. You can read about the Validation Facial Here. Also the spa is so gorgeous!!!
Bryn Meadows
This is one I’ve not been to but L has, from the photos it looked amazing and that afternoon tea looked amazing. The pool area looks absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing in. I love the Rasul treatments as for some people they love the idea of a spa day but would rather a treatment they can use on themselves. Have you tried anything like this before?
