I don’t know about you but the endless stream of amazing palette releases have totally rinsed my bank account. There are some beautiful collections available froma variety of brands and I need them all in my life!
One of the palettes that caught my eye before Christmas was the MUA Luxe Enrapture palette, it’s a darker and more sultry version on the Enchanted palette (click here to read my review on this one) and I knew I needed it for a variety of reasons.
Firstly the palette itself is beautiful. The black plastic packaging is a bit boring but let’s be honest, it’s all about what’s inside.
Have you seen the Hourglass palettes? Those babies are stunning, but at the astronomical price of £56 there is not a chance I could afford one let alone all 6 that are available, however gorgeous and unique they are.
These palettes cost £6 so are significantly cheaper and I’ve been pretty impressed with the results. See swatches below:
Again, just like the Enchanted palette these are so pigmented and I’m impressed. The colours are very wearable for day and night and blend easily together for many ombre effects.
See how they look on the eyes in a look below, they’re so easy to apply!
Have you tried anything from MUA Luxe before? Have you tried either of these palettes?
What are your thoughts on dupes for high end palettes?
As much as I love a luxury product and would dream about owning the real deal, I’m also a real human with a realistic wage so it’s just not always possible. In this case I think the dupes are really good and you cannot fault them for the price.
I’m excited to try more from MUA Luxe, the Velvet Lip Lacquers I’ve tried so far have been great and they have a huge range of colours to go through!
