The Body Shop Drops of Youth Range

Hey All

This is a post I’ve been meaning to write for a while, I first purchased items from this range almost a year ago. Prior to going Cruelty Free last year The Body Shop wasn’t massively on my radar with the exception of the body butters. I’ve since realised I’ve been missing out on some amazing skincare!

While L and I were shopping last year for my birthday we spotted the Drops Of Youth Concentrate highly reduced in our local body shop, they’ve changed the packaging so this old style was reduced massively! It’s double the size of the new style packaging and was a little bit cheaper so we couldn’t resist picking it up. Since then I’ve invested in 4 bottles of the serum, 2 (maybe 3) of the bouncy sleeping masks and the eye cream!

We both love skincare and our firm believers of prevention is better than cure and you’re never to young to start. The drops of youth range helps tackle the first signs of aging and reduce fine line and refresh the eyes.

As I said above the Drops Of Youth Concentrate was the first in the range we tried, we were both instantly sold after trying it out on our hands. It’s a lightweight gel texture that dissolves into the skin easily.

This is a certified organic products too, it helps improve the skin’s surface condition and leave it healthier, as I said I love this stuff, I still have two spares in my collection. My skin loves it, I use it morning and night and it sinks into my skin. My skin feels so much better after using it.

In outlet stores it is cheaper or TK Maxx have had the old packaging but at full price I’d still buy this.

30mls are £26 and 50mls are £33.

The eye concentrate is on the new packaging, the redesign of the packaging is so sleek and does look be, I love the bright green for it.

The eye concentrate appealled to me as it’s a roller ball style, I love these as they feel so cooling on the eyes and it’s nice to use to massage the product in! It’s another lightweight product, I love this about the range as it doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy as some anti aging products do.

This helps with fine lines and bags and refresh tired eyes. I do love using it first thing in the morning as a fresher. I find eye creams can be heavy but the gel like texture of this is perfect!

This is £20 for 10mls.

Last but by no means least in my collection of these is the bouncy sleeping mask. I love this (I mean I’ve said that a lot in this post but I really do love this range). This is unlike anything I’ve tried before, when I saw bouncy I wasn’t sure what that meant but when you touch it you understand, this isn’t a product you scoop out you almost bounce your fingers on top of it.

The texture is again lightweight and sinks into the skin but leaves it feeling refreshed and not heavy to sleep on, I don’t feel like if I moved I’d leave massive amounts of product on my pillow.

It leaves my skin feeling softer and smoother and my make up have applied better since using this.

This is £25 for 90mls. This also lasts ages!!

So as you can tell I love this range. I’ve used some of it for almost a year now, my skin has really benefited from it.

L reviewed the liquid peel a few weeks ago which you can see here.

Have you tried any of the range, I want to try the day cream but I’m still loving my Antipodes Manuka Honey Range for the day.

Love M
